Description:

We have a winner in the Haven insulated vinyl siding line. If you are looking for the latest technology in vinyl siding that will last for years to come this is one of the top contenders. With the ever increasing push across all building lines to "green products" you will seriously want to consider this siding. First is have attached EPS foam and is 1 1/2" thick projection. This foam is also embedded with Neophor a product that helps reflect radiant hear as well as convective heat that the eps foam takes care of. This technology is already used in radiant backed standalone foam boards so we really like seeing it integrated into one of the attached insulation products. They are so confident in the product you get a double lifetime warranty with hail protection. Haven further distinguishes itself with 4 high end profile a Double 6", Single 7", Double 4.5" and Dutchlap and Board and Batten.

    1. Hi, how do I get the specifications and product information on the Have Siding with Neophor. Also when you talk about hail warranty do you mean that the product will stand up to extreme weather and hail storm

      Thanks, Lisa

    2. From what I’ve read the old standard of foam under vinyl is out the window here in the northern part of the country due to lack of perm in the foam. While there are some foams out there claiming (rarely) a perm rating up to 5, they are indeed rare birds, as most fanfold has a rating around 1, from what I’ve seen. This kind of perm rating is insufficient for cold climates as it does not allow moisture from the inside of the house to get to the outside, instead, condensating in the wall cavity and causing all manner of evils.

So, what is the perm rating of the insulation attached to the vinyl in this product?
