Description:

This is the least expensive line of siding offered by ABT CO however that doesn't mean they skimped on the options. In fact this is a versatile choice offering 4 different profiles as well as 16 different color options. We really do not get the "cedar" reference and believe this is more marketing language than anything else. The woodgrain is a weathered wood that is reasonably deep but with only a 1/2" reveal profile no one with think this is cedar or anything like it. If you are on a tight budget or fixing up your house to sell down the road this may be the right choice. However, if you are looking for a more permanent upgrade look elsewhere.

Pros

  • 4 Profile Options ; Double 4 and 5" Clapboard and Dutchlap
  • 16 Colors
  • VaporVent weephole system
  • Cons

  • Thin Siding at .040
  • Weak Nailing Hem
  • Lower Warranty Standard on color
  • No Insulation
