Description:

While it is nice to have an insulated siding option in the Durabuilt family this product leaves us wishing they had done more. For started it is only available in a Double 6" Clapboard panel. The insulated (polystyrene) is a tad behind the latest technology's in the insulation industry. We like the add R Value(2.8) and are strong advocates for attached insulation both for energy efficiency and added durability that comes with adding a formed backboard. Only 7 unspectacular colors to choose from bring down the total rating on this panel as well.
